I just hope they were able to stop before the treeline stopped them. I don't want to scare anyone, but there are exposed rocks up there, and almost certainly hidden ones below the surface. I worked with a gal one time who broke her ankle telemarking (hiking up, skiing down), and had to be ski-patrolled out. (For the record, the insurance company didn't want to pay the cost. They claimed it wasn't an emergency, on the ground, I suppose, that she probably wouldn't actually have died if they had had to amputate. Which is why people hate insurance companies.)
