be a few months younger than Ronald Reagan was when he was first elected. \u00a0Mrs. Clinton also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/to-your-health\/wp\/2014\/05\/13\/why-did-hillary-clinton-wear-those-glasses-after-her-concussion\/\" target=\"_blank\">suffered a fall and a concussion in 2012<\/a>. \u00a0The cause of the fall has not been determined, and the extent of the concussion has been the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.powerlineblog.com\/archives\/2015\/09\/hillarys-head-injury.php\">subject of some informed speculation<\/a>.<br \/>\nMuch of this was covered by the press in 2014, but there have been no definitive answers from the Clinton camp, and as usual, the press has responded with its usual lack of curiosity where Democrats are concerned, and has been content with being stiffed by the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>It has therefore fallen to the Trump campaign to raise the issue, in its usual ham-handed way. \u00a0The press has responded by, more or less, suggesting that there is something inappropriate in raising the question of a candidate&#8217;s health.<\/p>\n<p>And yet, I can recall plenty of speculation about Reagan&#8217;s mental capacity in 1980. \u00a0Mark Russell even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3o283alB38A&amp;t=113\">did a song<\/a> about Reagan promising to quit if he became senile while in office.<\/p>\n<p>Another candidate who faced a\u00a0<em>lot<\/em> of discussion about his health was John McCain in 2008. \u00a0A few <em>minutes<\/em> of googling produced the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a &#8211;\u00a0<em>CNN<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Indeed, the\u00a0<em>NY Times<\/em> post about the attack ad evidences an acknowledgement that some people might be mildly\u00a0uncomfortable with such an ad, but mostly simply reports on the ads content, and concerns about illegal coordination with the Obama campaign or the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>Uninformed or wild speculation about Clinton&#8217;s health is, of course, irresponsible. \u00a0But merely raising the question?<\/p>\n<p>This seems to be another example of a special &#8220;Hillary Rule.&#8221;<br \/>\n<script>function
