You also get this, a "nature trail" that never loses sight of the Visitors Center's Coke machine, featuring a tree split by lightning and then seemingly patched back together with wood putty. The sign beneath it says something like "If you had been here when this tree was hit, you would have heard a tremendous crash of thunder." No kidding. And probably a big flash of light, too. Just before you woke up to face the Deity of your choice for a little tete-a-tete. Probably the first question would be, "Let's see. I give you a brain with almost infinite complexity, and you choose to stand under a tree during a thunderstorm? How much of 4th grade did you miss, exactly?"
