I'd been to SLC once before, and didn't really have time for the Mormon tour. Instead, it was this Kennecot Bingham Canyon Open Pit Copper Mine. It's the largest open pit copper mine in the world, and in the middle of all this natural beauty, I have to say, it's pretty inspiring to come across engineering on a gargantuan scale like this. |
